Red Frog Digital exports dinosaurs to Sweden!

Salford-based Red Frog Digital has launched a brand new augmented reality (AR) experience for two retail destinations in Stockholm, Sweden.
Following the success of three AR apps Red Frog Digital delivered for UK retail and leisure destination, Liverpool ONE in 2019 and 2020, Grosvenor Europe commissioned a new dinosaur experience for SKHLM Skärholmen Centrum and Lidingö Centrum.
The “Megaraptor” app involves visitors to the shopping centres hunting down and hatching eight different dinosaurs, walking, feeding and battling them, as well as taking highly realistic photo and video selfies!
The campaign launched in SKHLM on Friday 17 September 2021 and ran until November.
Carl Strufve, Nordic Manager at Grosvenor Europe said “The investment in the dinosaur app Megaraptor is an innovative way to make our downtown properties even more lively and attractive for different types of target groups. The game is also a way to integrate the physical trade with the digital, for which we are the first in Sweden.”
